"From The Ashes" Cat Skull & Bumble Bee Flora & Fauna Glass Cloche
Ethically-sourced
finished size: 6"W x 6"D x 10"H
A Cat Skull rests upon a twisted branch in an open yawn, revealing a shimmering piece of Labradorite inside its jaws. On a broken limb of the branch, a small Bumble Bee crawls out from napping in the dried Thistle, Sunflowers, and puffs of Autumn Clematis. Nigella + Eucalyptus Pods, dark + moody Hydrangea, and a sparkling granite rock on the ground below provide shelter for a small snail, while airy touches of Smokebush adorn the ephemeral composition. Artfully crafted on a hand-stained wooden base inside a small glass cloche to protect and preserve it.
This piece like all of the others in this inspired collection are made using ethically-sourced animal bones + insects, sustainably-sourced + dried florals + botanicals, and foraged + collected nature bits. These pieces are crafted with careful intention and detail to celebrate the beautiful beings they belonged to and their home in nature. Decorated lovingly, my hope is that they will bring joy and beauty to your space as conversational art, curiosities, and home decor.
How I would use it:
- As accent art or decor on a book shelf, floating shelf, side table, or windowsill for a touch of nature, texture, and color.
All of the elements in this piece are extremely fragile so it is recommended to keep it covered inside the cloche at all times and kept out of reach of children.
This listing is for the piece shown only. Other items in the photos are not included. Each piece is totally unique and is listed individually.
