CUSTOM FLORA & FAUNA: DEPOSIT

Purchasing this deposit is the best way to start your Custom Flora & Fauna project. The deposit is $100 and is non-refundable, as it covers the time it takes me to source the materials needed to make your piece and plan your design (including shipping of your finished piece.) Once I have more specifics about your project, I will quote a total price for the finished piece. The pricing will vary depending on: size, display/finish style (cloche, hanging, other), type of bones you are requesting, and accessibility to specific ingredients but *most* Custom pieces fall into the range of $300-$600.

If you are planning to provide me with any materials (bones, flowers, etc) you will be responsible for shipping or delivering those items to me intact and ready to use. Upon receipt in usable condition and pending availability of other elements needed to create your piece (drying specific flowers, sourcing specific cloche sizes, etc), your project may take anywhere from two weeks to several months to complete. Please be understanding and realistic when making these requests. The materials I use in my Flora & Fauna Art are 100% naturally-derived and because I specifically use ethically-sourced animal bones from trusted suppliers and seasonally-grown flowers, my access to these items is dependent on inventory, availability, and the timing of your request.
Please Note: "Shipping" for the deposit will default to "Local Pick-up Only" so that you are not charged for shipping on the deposit itself. Once your project is underway, I will quote you a cost to ship your finished piece vs. arranging local pick-up. Availability to ship a finished Flora & Fauna piece will be dependent on size and weight or finished piece - some pieces are simply too large or heavy to ship and must be picked up from my studio in CT. If you have concerns about this upfront, please reach out before purchasing this listing/committing to a deposit. Please note that Custom Flora & Fauna does NOT qualify for Free Shipping.
Custom Art and Deposits are non-returnable and nonrefundable.

RETURN , CANCELLATION, REFUND POLICIES
- I will gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations for (full-price only) Vintage items within two (2) days of delivery. Original shipping will not be refunded and return shipping must be paid by the customer. Returns must be shipped back within seven (7) days of delivery or the return authorization will be canceled.
- Cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of purchase.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED:
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, returns will not be accepted for:
- Handmade Original Art
- Meditation Kits
- Custom or personalized orders
- Curiosities
- Items on sale
If you receive an item that is damaged or that doesn't fit the listing description, please email me at halcyonheroine@gmail.com, and I will work with you on a return. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and will not be refunded the initial cost to ship the item.
