Energy-Inspired Original Art
When making these kits, I use the Crystals to inspire the paintings I create for them. The paintings are made intuitively using the healing energy of the stone to guide me. First I hand-select the crystals for each kit. When it's time to paint, I hold the crystals and tune into their energy. As I move them around in my hand, I start to feel moved to put color to paper. The palette and shapes that follow are all organically inspired from that energy, resulting in a unique piece of original art that serves as a companion to each unique stone.
Trātaka
Each Meditation Kit includes instructions for using its elements for Trātaka or "Focus Meditation" - instead of closing your eyes and trying to settle your mind, you keep them open and let your mind get lost in one of the items included. The kit can be used in any capacity to help establish a regular meditation practice - whether it's a daily ritual with all of the items, connecting to your breath while holding the stone, using the candle flame for focus, or finding a true moment of presence by getting lost in the colors and world of the painting.
The elements of the kit can be enjoyed and used however it feels right to you! The kit is compact and excellent for traveling or taking with you to a favorite sacred spot. Separately, the healing crystals can be carried throughout the day as a talisman, the painting placed on an altar or hung and enjoyed as a piece of art, and the candle popped into your favorite holder giving your space an ambient glow.
